About Me

I am Serra Demir, a clinical psychologist based in Strasbourg, France.

 

In my private practice, I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy and consulting services in English, French, and Turkish, both in-person and online.

My educational journey began in Istanbul, where I completed my studies at Saint Joseph Private French High School. I then pursued my bachelor's degree in Psychology and went on to specialize in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology during my master's degree at Strasbourg.

Throughout my internships, I had the opportunity to work with diverse populations. While my primary clinical experience has been with teenagers and young adults, I have also worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities, dependent elderly in nursing homes, and children.

​

During my master's program, I conducted research on fertility studies, specifically focusing on men who became fathers through assisted reproduction. Additionally, I wrote my master's thesis on male contraception, with a particular emphasis on vasectomy. I also took part in an academic study on child-mother relationships in families affected by domestic violence.

Currently, I work with adults in my private practice.
